Different Layers

My piece, 'Different Layers,' is a mixed media artwork using etching and trapped fabric.

Through layers, I represent the different types of air we breathe, while utilizing negative space to depict the unnoticed presence of poor air quality.

The etched layers symbolize various aspects of air, from clean to polluted, while the trapped fabric signifies the entrapment of harmful pollutants.

By visually portraying these layers and spaces, my artwork aims to shed light on the issue of air quality, urging viewers to recognize the importance of clean air for our well-being and the environment.
