Westway: over/under

This film explores the topography of the Westway as a locus of 'ambient narrative', juxtaposing motifs of community, transience, nature, chaos and order to explore the spaces above, below and the beautiful, challenging liminaliity thereof.

The sound/ 'musique concrète' is a further deconstruction of these themes and a direct reference to the materials used in the construction of the A40 flyover in the 1960's.
